Another "shot of a lifetime". Once push of the shutter, no continuous or speed shooting here. I even had to anticipate shutter lag back then (taken in 2005). The heron is still in full color since this was taken in spring, with ice still on the main lake. This was on the Kabekona river near Leech Lake.
