If you've ever been to the quaint town of Grand Marais on the North Shore of Minnesota, you've probably never seen whitecaps blowing from town out to Lake Superior. The waves were even forced over the break wall with the 70-80 mph winds. Power was out for a couple of days all along the North Shore after this event. It did make for a very amazing image though. Some of the locals said they have never see this scenario in person. I stayed out of the woods that day, knowing the strong winds were en route.
